Which Threshing Day are you looking for?
| Experience | What you do | Where to go |
|---|---|---|
| Dragonkind The official game | Enter as a candidate, make choices during Threshing and try to bond with a dragon. A death result can send you into a wait before another attempt. | Explore Rebecca Yarros’s game |
| Threshing Day The book | Read thirteen stories in the Empyrean world. Reading the collection does not create a rider account or assign you an online dragon. | Open the book page |
| Fan dragon quizzes Independent quizzes | Answer a separate quiz for its own result. It may be a fun personality match, but it does not set or replace your Dragonkind bond. | Use the quiz’s own result; return to the official game for your rider. |

What Threshing means in the game
Threshing is the dragon-bonding trial. Your candidate makes decisions through the encounter, with the possibility of bonding or dying. Treat an encounter and a completed bond as different moments: seeing a dragon is not yet your final result.
If you want the email-entry steps and help with your first outcome, use how to play Dragonkind. If you are already at a choice, the choice-path guide explains how to compare shared routes without treating them as a guaranteed answer key.
A personality result or an official bond?
Look at where the result came from before sharing it. A fan quiz result belongs to that quiz. An official bond belongs to the rider you entered through Dragonkind. A dragon name generator supplies a name; it does not prove that you survived Threshing.
When you have an official result, keep the dragon’s displayed name, color and tail together. The bond notebook lets you make a shareable card from details you enter yourself. It does not connect to your account or claim to issue an official result.
Already burned? Start with the wait on your screen
You can try again after death until you bond. Use the wait shown by the official game rather than a fixed duration copied from someone else’s screenshot. Our retry reminder can turn that remaining wait into your own timer and calendar reminder; it cannot shorten the game’s wait.
Keep your final prompt and chosen action in the run journal. On the next attempt, compare the exact situation as well as the answer. A different encounter is not the same test of a shared route.
